Born in 1975 in Berlin, Germany. Raised in Heidelberg, high school diploma (Abitur) and non-military community service. From 1996, medical studies at Charité Hospital in Berlin, license to practice medicine in June 2003.
Between 2003 and 2009, internships in internal medicine with a focus on cardiology in hospitals in Berlin and Brandenburg. His experience there was mainly in intensive care, pacemaker therapy, and emergency care.
Subsequent to the training to become an internist, career shift to private business as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager for GÖK Consulting AG, Strategy Consultants specializing in healthcare.
From 2012 to 2013, Manager Business Development for medneo GmbH, a Berlin-based radiology startup. Responsible for putting into operation the first MRI center as well as designing supplementary service models and negotiating with payors.
Since August 2013, active for the Economic Development Corporation of the German State of Brandenburg as Deputy Head of Cluster Management for the Berlin-Brandenburg Cluster Healthcare Industries – HealthCapital.
