Linus Drop is founder and CEO of jumedi, a specialist for patient navigation and case management, combining its professionals with the innovative health-App „mein Gesundheitsprogramm“ and a nationwide nurse-service.
From 2008 until 2017 he was Executive Director at Sanvartis where he implemented mobile patient programs for health insurances and pharma companies and innovative projects for physicians and pharmacies.
From 2006 until 2008 he worked at the InterComponentWare AG as a sales manager on the development of the electronic healthcare card. Further, he worked on IT-projects installing a technical network between physicians, hospitals and health insurance funds.
From 1990 until 2005 he worked in different positions at the social health insurance fund BARMER.
He studied business administration and received a vocational qualification as social insurance clerk.

With our experts in integrated care, e-health and evidence, we want to look at three cases of supporting a patient focus in health: 1) investigating patient-empowerment in structurally underdeveloped areas, 2) patientempowerment for more adherence and compliance, and 3) thirdly the role of patient-empowerment in evidence-based medicine through patient-reported outcomes measures.
