National Contact Points (NCPs) are national structures established and financed by governments of EU member states and states associated to Horizon 2020. NCPs are the main structure to provide guidance, practical information, personalized support and assistance on all aspects of participation in Horizon 2020. I am NCP for the area of Health Research. All NCP services offered are free of charge, such as guidance on choosing relevant topics, support with administrative procedures and training and assistance on proposal writing.

The EU provides a wide range of funding programmes, that offer a direct access to grants from the European Commission from Brussels. In cooperation with the National Contact Point for Health, the Enterprise Europe Network Berlin-Brandenburg will introduce the participant in funding opportunities. These programmes cover major European topics, such as research, innovation, market entry and education. This session will offer a valuable overview as well build up the skills on how to participate, build and manage a European project.
